Dr. Sh-Shanna Ellington, PMP, is a proud two-time graduate of The University of the West Indies, holding a BSc in Chemistry (2008) and an MSc in Forensic Science (2017). She furthered her academic journey by earning a PhD in Juvenile Justice from Prairie View A&M University in Texas (2024). Dr. Ellington currently serves in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) at the level of Deputy Superintendent of Police. She is recognised as a strategic leader in law enforcement, known for integrating scientific expertise with innovative leadership to enhance public safety and justice initiatives. Dr. Ellington has published multiple articles on juvenile justice and law enforcement issues, contributing to global discussions on contemporary policing, youth development, and criminal justice reform.
