Mr. Keron Campbell is the Botanist at the Natural History Museum of Jamaica (a Division of the Institute of Jamaica). In this position, he is responsible for maintaining the botanical collection of the museum, particularly in the herbarium. This includes collecting specimens himself from field work and adding specimens brought in by researchers. He also assists with management, education and outreach, particularly at the Mason River field station, Clarendon which has several unique plants as it is Jamaica’s only inland bog. Mr. Campbell has a B.Sc. double major in Botany and Zoology and an MSc. Natural Resource Management from The University of the West Indies. He is currently working to complete his Ph.D. research in botany at The UWI.
